My name is Steve Monroe and I manage the Small States in Peace and War Research Forum. I am an assistant professor of political science at Yale-NUS College with a courtesy appointment at the National University of Singapore (NUS)'s department of political science. I study the politics of economic development, with a regional focus on the Arab world. My new book project examines how population size in the early years of independence contributed to diverging developmental outcomes in the region.
This forum strives to promote research and pedagogy on small states. If you would like contribute to the site, please email yncsmallstates [at] gmail [dot] com. I am always on the look out for blog posts about small states and am always happy to connect with scholars and students of small states.
